Here are some films that I watched in 2021 and would like to share with you, followed by the full list of all the movies I watched in 2021, with my thoughts of each recorded on Letterboxd, and some that I’m looking forward to in 2021.
Similar rules as before:
- Each film can only be awarded the winner in one category; each category can only have a singer winner
- Film can be runners-up to any number of categories
- I try to limit the runners-up to 3 maximum
- Priority goes to newer films
Most “Life”
Many films I watched touched about life, and various aspects of life. It was tough to just pick one but Another Round, with its exploration into the perception and role of alcohol and its effects on us, on kinship and relationships, as well as education, makes me feel like it would be a suitable pick and a film to recommend if you haven’t caught it already.
